Decommissioning (Wells)
Opus Integrity provide a well integrity assessment and management planning service for the pre-P&A phase of the well lifecycle. This can include the intervention planning required to isolate and secure both routine and non-routine wells for the full P&A program.
P&A operations can endure engineering complexity, unplanned costs and additional risk to the abandonment program due to having unforeseen or unknown well conditions. Identifying these early and planning for it can greatly reduce these risks.
Project management of the non-routine intervention operations. Provide the specialist technology, tools and expertise required for the intervention program working in conjunction with the local incumbent conveyance companies. Remote and well site engineering / supervision support with all specialist services managed through single “Focal Point”.
Pre-P&A Well Integrity Assessment and Management planning.
- Evaluate the integrity condition and risk status of the well.
- Develop an integrity management plan and ERP to manage the well over the full pre-P&A period.
- Provide a high-level methodology to secure and isolate the well for the full P&A.
- Identify any well issues or challenges that could affect the P&A operations (non-routine / complex interventions).
P&A Planning
- Engineer the methodology for routine or non-routine / complex interventions required to secure and prepare the well for full P&A.
- Evaluate the most cost-effective solution including analysis of success probability.
- Design the isolation intervention program to prepare the well for full P&A operations.
- Identify any specialist services and equipment for the operations.
P&A Well Preparation
- Engineer support to project management the non-routine intervention operations.
- Provision of specialist technology, tools and equipment required for the intervention program.
- Remote and well site engineering / supervision support with all specialist services managed through single “Focal Point”.
Conductor integrity
Opus Integrity can provide the conductor integrity services required to manage the integrity of ageing wells that are beyond design life to maximise their capacity for continued and safe operations.
This covers the initial RBI planning, inspection and subsequent condition analyses through to remediation design and installation to developing a suitable integrity management system for the remaining lifecycle.
Develop conductor IMS for remaining asset lifecycle.
